Well the annual Jacaranda and Goat garden party is just around the corner. The lawn is being mowed, tarpaulins being rigged and the Afrodizzy's are gearing up for their event of the year... well, something like that.
Dress Code
Gents
Jacket, tie, shirt that supports a tie, shorts, appropriate footwear.
Ladies
Dress/skirt, hat, flower behindthe ear is an optional extra. We'll be in the garden, so take care with the heels.
Order of play
1:30pm - for the early comers - Rugby - SA v NZ
2:30pm - champagne reception at the marquee
3:00pm - cucumber sandwiches
3:30pm - live garden tunes from the AfroDizzyAxe
4:00pm - Pimms and lemonade
4:30pm - croquette
5:00pm - Gin and Tonic sundowners
5:30pm - strawberries and cream
Or something like that........
What should you bring?
- Anything thats needed for the kids
- A bottle of something summer like Champagne, Chablis, Pimms, Leomonade, Gin, Tonic, etc
- Your wallet as we will be asking you to part with some of your hard earned cash to support Gumps's cross channel event and his designated charity - Homes in Zimbabwe
Parking (Important!)
As you know there is limited parking at the house, we would request that you drop off guests at the house and then take the cars back to the football club parking. Please avoid leaving cars at the lock or at the Weir.

On the 28th September 2008, after 11 hours and 45 minutes of swimming, Gumps completed his goal of swimming the English Channel. He made landing on rocky French shores at 10.45pm Sunday evening.
